Together, they will help shape the future of family and community engagement in education across South Carolina.
What the Advisory Council Does
The SC-SIC Advisory Council serves in an advisory role to SC-SIC staff and leadership, offering insight, feedback, and recommendations on programs, training, and initiatives that impact local School Improvement Councils.
Council members will:
Meet once per year in person to discuss statewide priorities and emerging needs
Join two virtual meetings annually to share updates and collaborate on solutions
Provide input that helps shape SC-SIC’s ongoing work to empower local SICs.
This council represents an exciting opportunity to make a difference at the state level, while ensuring that SC-SIC’s work continues to reflect the real needs of South Carolina’s schools and communities.
