SC-SIC Member Network
The SC-SIC Member Network is the statewide system for managing
SIC Membership Records
SIC Compliance Status
Annual SIC Report to Parents
It’s the only system of its kind in South Carolina, tracking thousands of SIC members dedicated to strengthening schools through family and community engagement.
The public read-only view allows anyone to see SIC membership, compliance, and upload Reports to the Parents.
Start Here: Important Reminders
New User Accounts Each Year
All accounts expire on July 1.
You must request a new account every school year. Old usernames and passwords will not work.
Only school or district employees can have accounts.
Two Required Compliance Deadlines
November 15
June 1
SIC membership must be fully entered and updated in the Member Network.
SIC Report to Parents must be uploaded in the Member Network
If either deadline is missed, your SIC will be listed and reported as non-compliant.
How to Request or Reactivate an Account
Complete the User Request Form using only a district or school email address.
SC-SIC staff reviews each request manually.
- Accounts are typically approved within 2 business days, but high volume may cause slight delays.Once approved, you can use your log-in credentials to access the Member Network for the current school year.
NOTE: Even if your SIC held elections in the spring and entered information before July 1, you must update it again after July 1 for the new school year.
Compliance Status: What the Icons Mean
When viewing SIC records in the Member Network, schools will be marked as:
Blue Asterisk - Reported, Non-Compliant
Membership was reported but late, incompleted, or did not meet the requirements of state law.
Green Check - Compliant
Membership was updated by November 15 and meets all legal requirements.
Red X - Not Reported
Membership not reported and school is out of compliance.
NOTE: These designations are publicly visible in the read-only view.
Uploading the SIC Report to Parents
Every SIC must write and distribute its Report to Parents by April 30.
To stay compliant:
Upload a PDF version of the report to the Member Network by June 1.
Steps to Upload:
Log in to your Member Network Account.
Click the yellow “Report to Parents” button.
Click “Add Report.”
Select the school year from the dropdown menu.
Upload the PDF file of your report.
Click Submit.
IMPORTANT:
Uploading the report to the Member Network does not replace the requirement to share the report with your community. It must be distributed locally.
Compliance Reset Each July
On July 1, every school in the Member Network resets for the new school year, and is listed as “Not Compliant” until they update their records.
Update your SIC’s membership as soon as possible to avoid delays or confusion.
